Onboarding · v1.3

Culture & Security Handbook

This document is not a dry legal contract, but a mental anchor to keep us aligned on the same wavelength. Before hands-on tinkering begins, take 15 minutes to understand how we live, work, and protect one another.

Part 1

Embracing the AIDo Spirit — An Open Incubator

AIDo does not confine you within corporate rigidity. This is an Open Incubator, always hungry for fresh perspectives. To live this spirit, every member practices three core rituals:

1. “0.1% Progress” from Scars

We never fear buggy code or API rate limits. Those are "scars" proving you are in active contact with real challenges. What matters is feeling yourself move forward a fraction every day rather than quietly settling for stagnation.

2. The Right to Fail (Fail-Fast) & The Right to Propose

You have the full right to make mistakes when testing emerging tech. You also have the right to propose wild ideas and new tooling to transform how the team works. At AIDo, opinions of interns and co-founders carry equal weight if they genuinely deliver results.

3. Reigniting Momentum (Live & Offline)

Knowledge kept on static wikis or buried in chat channels remains dormant — real passion doesn't travel through cold text. When you crack a tricky problem, ask for 5 minutes of Live Demo on call, or open your laptop at an offline coffee to share how AI challenged you and how you overcame it.

Your authentic pride and bright eyes are the strongest spark. We borrow each other's energy to sustain the long marathon.

Part 2 · The Red Line

Partner Data Protection Discipline

No matter how free and exploratory our environment is, data discipline is absolute and non-negotiable. AIDo handles real-world partner data, and safeguarding their trust is our foundational baseline.

Rule 1 — Never take "gold" outside the gates

  • Strictly never screenshot partner data (names, phone numbers, emails, financial terms, contracts) to post on social media, boast accomplishments, or circulate outside designated pipelines.
  • Architectural patterns and algorithmic concepts can be shared openly, but raw partner data never is.

Rule 2 — Tiered Data Classification for AI/LLMs

Tier 1 — Open Tier

Pure code logic, mock/dummy datasets, personal research. Freely test with Cloud AI providers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini…).

Tier 2 — Sensitive Real Data

Strictly prohibited from being pasted into public consumer AI chats. Must be sanitized/masked. If necessary, consult mentors for enterprise zero-data-retention APIs or localized models.

Part 3

Graduation Culture & Graceful Departure

AIDo is a launchpad. Some will journey alongside us until a startup launches independently, while others join to build battle-tested skills before venturing onto their own path. We celebrate both.

Serene Offboarding Process

  1. No Ghosting — If you need to pause or step down for any reason (personal venture, studying abroad, shifting direction), simply send a transparent, sincere message to your lead.
  2. Graduation Milestone — Instead of heavy bureaucracy, this marks your graduation from the incubator. Hand over in-flight code cleanly, revoke access credentials, and receive warm applause from the team.
  3. Alumni Network — You remain part of the Discord #alumni-network. We continue as friends, partners, and collaborators supporting each other's future endeavors.
Version 1.3 Updated 05/08/2026 Changes: Emphasized direct human interaction (Live Demo, Offline) for knowledge sharing over passive text chat.
